Senior Pastor and Ministry founder, Ted Riley, along with wife and Co-Pastor, Lisa, have answered the
strong call of God to shepherd, and preach God’s word.
Pastor Ted has been recognized and thus ordained under the covering of World Harvest Ministerial Fellowship
in Columbus, Ohio.
In addition to a devotion to the study and preaching of God’s Word, Ted is regarded as one who displays the
love of Christ to those whom he has been given the privilege of serving. His passion for scriptural truth has
driven him to study and teach believers of the freedom that is offered by a victorious life in Christ. His endeavor
is to cultivate such truths to the extent that they touch every corner of the world.
In preparation for his present place in ministry, Ted has held various leadership positions in teaching, youth ministry, singles
ministry, men’s ministry and tape ministry. He is known as a prayer warrior when it comes to the needs of others. His mission trips to
Honduras and Africa only confirm his burden for world missions.
Pastors Ted and Lisa were married in 1996. They have two sons, Brennen and Terrel. Ted and Lisa are positioned to devote the bulk of
their time to the spiritual concerns of an emerging body of believers that is destined to be unique in its approach and compelling in its
affect.
In Pastor Ted's leisure time he enjoys golf, football and home remodeling.
Our Staff
The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed
me to preach good news to the poor. Luke 4:18 NIV
Reverend and Evangelist Edgar Rivera along with his wife, Mayda served as servants for the
Lord in Brooklyn Tabernacle for approximately eight years by working in the books ministry, prison
ministry, street ministry and as ushers. They had a deep study in the Word of God with the pastors
and leaders of the church. They were called out by the Lord to serve the sister church of Christ
Tabernacle in Queens, New York and studied under the leadership of Pastor Durso. With Pastor
Durso, Edgar had the opportunity to go out to do missionary work. He also served in the prison
ministry, tape ministry and street ministry for two years.
In 1992, God called Edgar and Mayda to move to Florida where they attended the Church of God.
Edgar served as the Vice President of the Men's Fellowship for four terms. He also was an associate pastor for two years.
While in the Church of God, Edgar was involved with many different leadership titles. He spent two years in the Missionary
Benevolent Association, which required him to help meet the needs not only for the members in the church, but those outside the
church as well. He received his pastoral license through the Church of God and was ordained through them for approximately ten
years. During those ten years, Edgar had travelled extensively to preach in all types of churches in and out of the state and country.
Edgar also enjoys playing the congas and has played with Christ the Rock Community Church Band for three years and Greater
Miami Church of God for two years where he was involved in travelling from church to church playing for the Lord.
Edgar's heart is now in the street where he wants to evangelize to the people who will not come to church. He and Mayda will go out
and bring the good news to them and let them know there is hope in Jesus Christ even if they don't come to church. Edgar wants
them to know that Jesus is out there for them in the streets even if they don't participate in church services. He will be out there with
them to preach the Word of God so they can know Jesus' love is there for them to receive freely. Edgar's heart is also in the churches
to evangelize the members of the church to believe by faith and walk in victory in Christ Jesus with both new believers and old ones
as well.
